Swindon's played badly throughout the whole game, and Cheltenham took their chances have had a bit of luck to give them all 3 points.

Cheltenham's first goal came on 31 minutes and looked offside, but the linesman kept his flag down which allowed Martin Devaney to score in a one on one with Bart Griemink.

Cheltenham then added a second just before half time when a deflection on the edge of the area went in. It was just good luck for Cheltenham and the ball could have gone any where.

With just 7 minutes left Swindon's night went from bad to worse when for the second time this season against Cheltenham they had a player sent off, this time it was on loan Jon Beswetherick who was the last man before the goal when he fouled Devaney. Any where else on the pitch it would just have been a free kick but here the referee had no choice except to sent Beswetherick off. Beswetherick took his time leaving the pitch, and a fight amongst the players broke out.

Cheltenham missed the free kick from the sending off, but added a third goal in the last few minutes with a strike from Spencer from 35 yards been Griemink who was left standing in his goal.
