Robins leave it late

Cheltenham came from behind to sting ten-man Plymouth 2-1 courtesy of two late goals from Darryl Duffy.

The Football League`s bottom club led for most of the match thanks to a first-half own goal from Steve Elliott before Duffy had the final say, the first coming from the penalty spot and the second in the 93rd minute after Jamie Griffiths had seen red.

After a tight opening, Argyle broke the deadlock against the run of play with a bizarre own goal midway through the first half.

On-loan Birmingham goalkeeper Jack Butland was guilty of a huge blunder, flapping at Jared Sims' looping header and only diverting the ball into the net via the leg of defender Elliott.

Plymouth nearly extended their lead 12 minutes from time when substitute Isaac Vassell forced Butland to tip spectacularly onto the crossbar.

But the Robins continued to press and finally equalised through Duffy's spot-kick, awarded after Curtis Nelson brought down Elliott from behind.

Worse followed for Argyle when striker Griffiths received a straight red card for a dangerous challenge on Luke Garbutt, before Duffy fired home a close range 93rd-minute winner following a corner.
