Rochdale then came close to scoring after 10 minutes, following a corner, which should only have been a throwing, but 'Dale's shot hit the post.

Rochdale's goal came shortly after half time with Platt scoring in front to the Rochdale fans.

Cheltenham had a free kick right on the edge of the box near the end, it looked like it should have been a penalty, but the cross from the free kick didn't produce another goal.

Both teams had chances to take the lead, but overall a draw was a fair result.
