Wes Thomas`s solitary strike separated the sides two weeks ago and booked the Robins` passage into the second round of the competition, and Yates knows the Shrimps will return to Whaddon Road keen to make amends.
"Morecambe will be up for a bit of revenge and we must be on top of our game, but we are certainly looking forward to it," he told Town`s official website.
"Every game in this league is tough and I know that if this group of players put in the work rate and commitment and prepare correctly then we can beat anybody.
"Morecambe are a good footballing team and they will continue to play football, as will we. They certainly won`t come here to make it an ugly, scrappy game because they have talented footballers and the manager likes them to play football."
