Yates rues Robins reverse

Terry Gornell had put Stanley ahead and it looked like Wes Thomas` 83rd-minute equaliser would rescue a point for the Robins, who have slipped to 10th in the table.

But substitute Leam Richardson smashed home a last-minute volley to give the visitors a 2-1 victory.

"I don't know if it was the performance of the players or the referee. That's all I'm going to say but I don't think I've seen a display like that for a long time," said Yates.

"Four minutes injury time - I think their lad went down for that long at one stage and there were six subs. But I'm not blaming him, we've got to look at ourselves too. We've got to do the ugly side of things too on a bobbly and muddy pitch.

"They are a decent team but all over the pitch we made too many fundamental errors and were always chasing the game. We were not at our best and we`ve got to do better. We've lost three of the last four games at home but it's not a problem, we've just got to find a solution."
