"Nobody's going to pick on Brown, he made a magnificent save for the penalty, but it was an atrocious game on an atrocious pitch," said Yates.
"It was a nil-nil draw, we were trying to nick it at the end, but we just couldn't hold out.
"The quality of our delivery and finishing just wasn't good enough, but I thought the back four and keeper did well.
"Every game is a big game now and we've just got to pull ourselves together for the end of the season."
