Yates looks forward

Second-half goals from Josh Low and Danny Andrew gave Cheltenham a 2-0 victory, meaning they are all but safe. The Robins are six points above the drop zone and Yates is already turning his attention to next season.

He said: "It was a thoroughly professional performance. The players showed a lot of character, a lot of fight and a lot of spirit after taking a fair bit of stick.

"I though Wes Thomas was outstanding up front on his own. We knew we needed to keep their crowd quiet for the first 20 minutes and that we had to be organised and solid.

"We were superb defensively. I can't remember Lincoln threatening us at all. We've got to improve next season but it's a massive sense of relief to get the points.

"We have a full squad and that is something we need to address for next season. It was never going to be easy this season and we know we've got to be better and get better players in if we want to progress."
