Peterborough's teenage left-back arrived on loan at the Abbey Business Stadium last week having spent time under Yates during his previous tenure at Kidderminster.

Andrew was thrown straight in at the deep end on his Football League debut as centre-back Ashley Eastham saw red to take the Robins down to 10 men for the final 34 minutes.

But he and his team-mates held strong, and Yates said: "Danny came in for his debut and did well.

"He has a good left foot and will benefit from being around good players.

"I looked at him for a while at Peterborough and took him to Kidderminster. He's a young boy who wants to learn and he can be really proud of his Football League debut."
