Yates expecting Robins reaction

The Robins were punished for an underwhelming performance as they were convincingly swept aside 3-0 by derby rivals Hereford, and Barnet are in the firing line this weekend as the Gloucestershire outfit look to bounce back.

"We wanted our next game to come quicker because we needed to get last weekend out of our system," Yates told Town's official website. "It has been a tough week but no more than it should have been. We didn`t perform, we let ourselves down and we must put that right on Saturday.

"We've had a productive week and we have gone over plenty of things but we must now react to them and be better than what we were last weekend. It's baffling and disappointing but it`s gone now and I want them to show us all they are a lot better than that."

He added: "Whoever I play on Saturday will be right up for it because they know Saturday was unacceptable and I believe there will be a big reaction.

"I'm not saying it will be plain sailing but we will be playing with a positive attitude and we`ll work harder than we have ever worked before and that should turn the tide for us."
