Wilson, who's transfer fee remains undisclosed at this stage, becomes John Wards first major signing since taking over as Cheltenham Town manager.

The fee for the young right back, who joined Cheltenham on loan with a view to a permanent transfer just four minutes before Thursday's transfer deadline, has been privately funded by investors in to the club. He had previously spent just over six weeks at the club either side of Christmas, when he proved to be a big hit with the Robins faithful.

Robins boss John Ward said "This has been a long, drawn-out process but it's brillian to finally have everything completed. I need to say a big thank-you to the Chairman and the Board of Directors, who have backed me all the way, and i'm delighted to make Brian my first permanent new signing as Cheltenham Town manager.
