Ward hopes for success in LDV trophy

John Ward has told the Gloucestershire Echo that he hopes the robins can successful in the LDV Trophy. The competition has not been a fruitful one for Cheltenham so far, but as it is taken less seriously by a number of clubs, it may prove to be an exciting aside if the later rounds are reached.

He told the Echo: "I want to put a side out that I believe can win and be positive and bounce back from the result against Grimsby, not the performance so much. If we can do that, maybe we can win the game and maybe progress three or four rounds further and make life interesting in the competition."
