TRANSFER ACTIVITY HOTS UP AT WHADDON ROAD

The players that Gould has shown an interest in are West Brom legend Bob Taylor, who was released by the Hawthorns club after two spells there, Andy Legg, a utitlity player who is free to leave Cardiff City, Peter Beagrie, a 6ft striker released by Bristol City last season, and Robert Taylor (not to be confused with Bob Taylor), a powerful striker who once moved to Manchester City for £1.5 million. He is expected to train with Cheltenham on Thursday.

Gould has been under pressure from fans to bring in some more new faces as the club try to get back to Division 2 at the first attempt. so far, there have only been 2 signings made by the club. They are 19-year old former Crystal Palace midfielder and Nike Freestyle Champion Craig Dobson, and Nigerian born striker Kayode Odejayi, from Forest Green Rovers.
