In a statement that is sure to demonstrate the increased belief and spirit amongst the camp, Grant McCann has high hopes for the season ahead. He told the Western Daily Press: "I think we're looking a lot better this season and we're much harder to beat than we were last year, I think all of us are really starting to believe in ourselves now. Last year there were maybe a few who didn't have that belief but now we are starting to believe we are just as good as anybody in this division."

"If we can keep hold of that and not get over-confident with it, I think we can do well this season... We have played some of the top teams in this division already and I really don't think we have got anything to fear... It just shows that we've gone and proved people wrong and anyone who was knocking us at the start of season are eating their words now."

The Robins take on a similarly optimistic Barnet this evening, having lasted August unbeaten the Cheltenham faithful will hoping September can be as fruitful.
