John Ward has said that he would like to sign at least 2 more players, most likely to be more experienced than the signings made so far.
The club have also announced the appointment of a new Assistant Manager, Keith Downing. He re-joins John Ward, who he worked for, at Wolverhampton Wanderers, for 5 years.
Downing, a midfielder in his playing days, made 228 appearances for Wolves, and became a hero there, because of his 'never say die' attitude in the midfield. He also played for Birmingham, Cardiff, Stoke, and Hereford.
Bob Bloomer has been offerered a job as Youth Team Manager, which he looks likely to accept.
