Riley return for Robins

Cheltenham defender Martin Riley has eased the club's defensive shortage declaring himself fit for the weekend visit to Accrington Stanley. The 21-year-old former Wolves and Shrewsbury centre-back returned to action during the recent 2-0 reserve team defeat at the hands of West Brom following a two-month lay-off with a hamstring injury. Manager Mark Yates will be without Steve Elliott due to a calf injury and Danny Andrew is also doubtful, meaning Riley's return could not have come at a better time. Riley told thisisGloucestershire: "I felt good and strong and my hamstring felt fine, which is the main thing, so I enjoyed it. "You can't really tell how it's going to react until you get out on the pitch, but everything is good. "The plan is now to get another couple of days of training in and be involved on Saturday. I am dying to get back after two months out and I want to play as much as possible between now and the end of the season"
