Stoke have been hit by injuries, and Henry will be on the bench for their game against Watford on Saturday at the Britannia Stadium. Stoke also recalled Brian Wilson from Cheltenham last month to help to cope with injuries and suspensions.
Manager John Ward said 'Obviously i'm very dissapointed because Karl has been playing well and has been an important player for us. I have thanked Karl for all his efforts on our behalf, and I hope that we will get the chance to see him again.'
Both Henry and Wilson are out of contract at the end of the season.
