Foxes or Lions might pounce for McCann

The Gloucestershire Echo has carried unconfirmed reports that Leicester and Millwall may be interested in securing the services of Cheltenham's Grant McCann. The Northern Ireland international has been one of the robin's most consistent performers over the past couple of seasons and the loss of a player of his standard at the January make-or-break stage of a season would be a huge blow.

Chairman Paul Baker has confirmed that Cheltenham players are always allowed to listen to offers, but he and assistant manager Keith Downing have both said that no approaches have yet been made. McCann joined the robins for £50,000 in January 2003 and the club would hope to receive significantly more for him if he were to move on.
