Fans unhappy with Orient display

Many of the fans seem to be unhappy with the style of play seen during the match, calling for more 'on the floor', passing football.

"Our hump ball from Brough & Duff serve only to give the ball back as does the ignorant high boot from Higgs to the 2 lone forwards," said Cotswold Wayfarer.

CV also feels that player improvements are still needed in ther team.
"As it stands we have a defence that is not up to this standard.The man who is in charge knows that we know that but whats happening about it???
Route one football is going to drive the fans away the evidence was there Saturday,some sorting out needs to be done and done very fast," he said.

Keep_Tolkien agreed.
"We lack height, weight, skill, passion, experience, organisation , leadership and seemingly guidance," he said.

Super Dale added; "In the second half (sad though this may be) I counted our passing each time we got the ball (which wasn't often.) On one occasion, we managed three passes before losing the ball. On no other occasion did we manage more than two.
Leyton Orient, however- who are not one of the best sides in this division- passed the ball intelligently and frankly made us look stupid. But for some poorish finishing, they might have won 5-1 yesterday which would have been a fairer reflection."

Johnno also feels that the team need to be playing better football.
"I think this says we all want to watch some quality football - and I believe our players have it in them.
Bottom line is they were following the managers instructions - so he has to take lion share of responsibility. If they're instructed to play a specific way, what choice do they have?," he said.

Cotswold Wayfarer seemed to sum up the general feelings of the supporters by saying;
"THESE TACTICS NEVER HAVE BEEN ENJOYED BY THE WHADDON CROWD.
GET THE BALL DOWN & PLAY FOOTBALL......ON THE GROUND, THAT MEANS TO FEET. THE NAME OF THE GAME IS FOOTBALL NOT HEADBALL."
