Cotterill Rejects Robins

After lenghty discussions with Chairman Paul Baker and Director Colin Farmer, Cotterill, currently without a club, told them that he did not feel that the time was right for him to return.

Cotterill, who took the Robins from the Doc.Marten's League to Division 2 during his reign at the club, was the clear favourite of the fans to take over from Bobby Gould, and has been leading most of the internet voting polls for the job.

Baker also revealed that applications for the job are still coming in, and all applications reaching the club before 30th october will be considered. The club are currently working around a shortlist of 6 names, one of which has been reccomended by Steve Cotterill.
