Cheltenham unlikely to sign Bell

John Ward has expressed his belief that Cheltenham do not present a tempting enough opportunity to Mickey Bell. The robins manager had been linked to the left sided player, but it is believed that Bell has been in talks with Port Vale and a move to Cheltenham is highly unlikely.

The signing of Bell might have been a popular move to a number of the Cheltenham faithful as he is quite highly regarded by some in League 2, but Ward has not made any further efforts, considering them to be futile. Bell spent 8 years at Ashton Gate and made 278 starts scoring 35 times.
