Cheltenham to Burnley via Florida?

Steve Cotterill has flown to Florida to sign Gloucester born defender Wayne Thomas for Burnley, who has joined on a free tranfer from Stoke City. In what has subsequently been confirmed as an unconnected trip, Martin Devaney has also chosen the Florida sun for a holiday destination.

Devaney played for Cotterill during the manager's time at Cheltenham and you would expect him to be interested in a move to the Championship, however a trip to Burnley is not on the cards.
