Brough to be released

Brough, 32, is one of only two players remaining at the club from it's time in the Conference. The other is Jamie Victory. When Brough leaves at the end of the season, it will bring to an end a successful spell with Cheltenham Town, during which the club were crowned Conference Champions and won the Division Three Play-Offs.
The emergance of young centre back such as Shane Duff, and, more recently Gavin Caines and Michael Taylor, meant that there was a large number of players all vying for the central defensive position. Brough has also been very unlucky with injury problems, and has been out of action since November with an ankle injury that required an operation.
Brough has been a great servant to the club, and will leave with everyone's best wishes.
