John Brough is waiting for a final offer to be faxed through from Aldershot before he decides where he will be plying his trade next season. According to the Gloucestershire Echo, Brough will have a new club by tomorrow.
The shots are a late addition to the race for the 32-year-old defender's signature and are going head-to-head with Forest Green Rovers after Brough turned down previous offers from Weymouth and Hinckley United. It is understood that the offers were turned down because he wishes to carry on playing full-time. If he fancies another period of league football, then a move to Aldershot may be on the cards, as the team made it to the Conference play-off semi-finals this season and will be looking to make the next step in the coming season.
